Mekong River Textile's first show of the year, the Needlework Emporium, is back at the Women’s Club of Bethesda, 5500 Sonoma Road on Saturday April 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A group of talented artists and exhibitors gather yearly offering an intimate shopping experience for those who love textiles, handmade goods, and all the needle arts.
We’ll bring our Thai and Lao handwoven fabrics, indigo and multi-colored ikat cottons, bead-woven runners, tapestry work, embroidered bags, jewelry and cotton and silk scarves. Our unique blouses, vests, jackets and other clothing will be featured.
