Thick and thin cotton single threads are the basic structure for this unique vibrant cotton. The black warp is softened with abstract ikat patterning while the dominant weft aqua and purple weft stripes carry the color with pleasing tones of wine, blue, magenta, lime and apricot. The open weave is amazingly stable and holds up well to gentle machine washing and drying flat. We like to make tunics, airy jackets and blouses with the colorful bands.
