Cotton & Rayon Fabric

Many of our artisans are certified by the Thai Department of Environmental Quality and they are trained in the use of safe-dye techniques and are green certified. Others work with natural dye materials they gather locally or cultivate in nearby plots, such as indigo.

All cottons are medium weight plain weaves, and are sold by the yard unless otherwise indicated.

This Northern Thai traditional fabric is a warp ikat but in new updated colors. See our sample clothing in the Creative Corner section of this website.

  • 100% cotton ikat resist-dyed handwoven

  • Bold central stripes flanked by rainbow pinstripes and red bands

This fabric is Certified Green Technology. The Thai Department of Environmental Quality trains and certifies dyers to use "Safe" dye techniques that don't pollute or adversely affect the health of the dyers.
