Cotton & Rayon Fabric

Many of our artisans are certified by the Thai Department of Environmental Quality and they are trained in the use of safe-dye techniques and are green certified. Others work with natural dye materials they gather locally or cultivate in nearby plots, such as indigo.

All cottons are medium weight plain weaves, and are sold by the yard unless otherwise indicated.

The Wave Motif :Water is central to the lives of the Laotian people living along the Mekong River.  It is the source of their livelihood and is connected to their myths and legends.  The Naga serpent snake, the most powerful image in Laos textiles, controls rainfall inhabits the waterways.
