Think sky blue and enjoy this subtle handspun from village crops, cotton and the indigo plant. Sustainably produced the weavers and dyers are maintaining traditions practiced for hundreds of years and handed down in families. The cotton seed is removed, fiber combed then spun using a hand-operated spinning wheel. Hand spinning adds a special soft hand to the cloth and gives us a real treasure. Jobs are shared among the villagers with the indigo dyers holding a special place of renown and expertise among the artisans.
